Thank you for purchasing from John Mayes Engineers. We pride ourselves on the quality of our products, however in the case that you have an issue or wish to return a product the following returns policies will apply.
Firstly, you need to email firstname.lastname@example.org and inform us of the issue. Proof of purchase will be required in order for us to process the request. Once you have informed us of the issue we will generate an RMA number. This number will need to be kept safe as you may need it while we are investigating the situation. The items will then need to be returned to John Mayes as soon as possible with a copy of the RMA document attached.
If items returned to us arrive in an unsellable condition then you will be charged in full for the items. In the same manner if an item has been used the return will not be accepted.
If you receive an order and your items are damaged we require photographic evidence to support your claim. This includes photographing damaged packing if goods have been damaged in transit. Once verified by a member of the John Mayes team arrangements will be made to despatch replacement items as soon as possible.
If we are at fault then a refund will be given within 14 days of us receiving the returned items. Returned items received with a valid RMA document will then be refunded using the original method of payment.
If the customer wishes to return the goods for a reason other than damage we will charge you a 25% re-processing fee.
If you have ordered a bespoke item from us and we are not at fault for the items being returned, then a refund will not be given.
